Sixth Annual Celebration of Boyds

SIXTH ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF BOYDS

Thank you for your interest in the Sixth Annual Celebration of Boyds in Clarion, Iowa. We have space for only 300 registrants and the spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. You may register as early as August 1, 2004. The Boyds people will have their VP of Stuff, Liz Smith, as well as, several members of the Boyds product development team present. In addition, all Teddy Bear artists from the Boyds artisan series will be there. (Click here for additional information on the Boyds team members that will be present.)

The registration fee for the Sixth Annual Celebration of Boyds is $75.00. This fee includes program booklet, workshops (which will be announced in Spring of 2005), Clarion exclusive Bearstone souvenir, noon lunch, shuttle bus pass, early-bird shopping in the "All Boyds Stuff Salesroom", door prize tickets, and a surprise or two. The 2005 Boyds Celebration committee negotiated with the Teddy Bear Reunion 2005 committee for 325 Bearstones. Each of our attending registrants and vendors will get a souvenir Bearstone with a bottom number between 101-425. These are the lowest numbers sold to anyone not working on the Teddy Bear Reunion Committee. For more information on this and other Boyds Celebration souvenirs, click here.

The "All Boyds-Stuff Salesroom" offers authorized Boyds dealers selling current inventory and secondary market vendors offering retired, first edition, and rare early Boyds products. Several members of the Boyds product development team will be signing at the event.

Boyds will also use the 2005 Celebration of Boyds to introduce two new bears. A limited number of these Boyds Artisan Steve Schutt designed bears will be available for purchase.

On the same weekend as the sixth Annual Celebration of Boyds, Clarion is also hosting the Teddy Bear Reunion -- 2005. This is America's largest Teddy Bear convention. Cost of the 3 1/2 day event is $150.00. For more information on this event click here.

The registration fee for the Boyds Celebration is $75.00. However, for the 2000 Boyds Celebration, several registrants also attended the Teddy Bear Reunion-2000. The 2005 Boyds committee is assuming this will happen again. For those persons planning to register for both events, the registration fee will drop from $75.00 to $45.00; a savings of $30.00. If you are planning on attending both events, you must also fill out a separate registration for the Teddy Bear Reunion.

However, if you plan to stay three or more night in the area you may want to consider registering for the Teddy Bear Reunion-2005. Registrants of that convention who agree to purchase two bears in the Teddy Bear Reunion Salesroom get free host housing with a local family.

The money you would have spent for the three or more nights lodging will pay for the bears. You must also leave a nice host gift with the family that houses you.

Deposits and registration fees are non-refundable. In the event you cancel or cannot attend and have paid at least $45 in registration fees, you will receive the program book, name badge and souvenirs to be sent after July 15, 2005. Your souvenir Bearstone will have a bottom number between 2600 and 3600 and not a bottom number between 101-425 which will be given only to those who physically attend the event.
